Message from Coach Philip

"I met Mayou as the most smiley and quick spinning 9 year old. Even from then, she was always eager to learn and went from basics to the Juvenile level in less than a year. No matter what obstacle lies in her way, Mayou is like a river - she quietly overcomes whatever tries to stop her. I always am excited to see how Mayou will progress and continue growing as a person and as a beautiful skater. She is an interesting introvert who always has a unique perspective. Her resourceful thrift and compassionate and quiet kindness always impress me."
